Summary: | 碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 工學院工程管理專班 === 94 === The design development project management of the equipment is usually a series of important activities that are organized and tightly connected. Therefore, when facing rapid changes and competitive situations, the design development process should not only take the technical aspect into consideration, but also react effectively to different equipment situations.
The production equipment provides production capability. The good or bad of the production capability is affected by the production equipment; and the good or bad of the development is based on the quality of the equipment development process.
In order to understand the impact of the equipment development process to the equipment development, this study from a case working unit has taken representative Cutting Machine equipment development cases on the last three years (2002-2004) and aimed at the problems occured the typical development process.
The sub-process concept is provided as the solution model. Besides, it has found the solution for the developed typical process problem under such mode. Such solution is divided into integrated and stage-based aspects. On the integrated aspect, it has built the customer-made sub- process, set up certain equipment design and development manual, and increased the technical and the management information. On the stage-based aspect, it has offered the improvement means to the problems occurred from plan, design, purchase, assembly, test, and completion of the six stages.
Finally, the efficiency of the sub-process is checked through interviews. The initial interview makes sure whether the main idea of the sub-process is recognized. And the in-depth interview makes sure whether the improvement method of the typical process is effective and to estimate its efficiency.
The investigation on equipment design development process has not been seen in the domestic documents. However, it is found during the interview that the practitioners have the intention to upgrade the development ability through the improvement of equipment development sub-processes.
