Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 土木工程學系碩博士班 === 94 === Taiwan is located at the western side of seismically active belt of circum-Pacific and also in the subtropical zone with monsoon climate. The frequency of natural hazards in Taiwan, induced from earthquake, typhoon, heavy rainfall and debris flow, is essentially, relatively higher. Recently due to the rapid change of the global climate and the inadequate development of local slope land, the occurrence of natural hazards in this island has with an increasing tendency. The natural hazards are always inducing serious damage on the infrastructures, in which the damage of highway system brings about the most impact to the living of people. Except for a halt of the transportation function, the damage of highway system affects the hazard rescue and may also generate the secondary hazards. In this study, statistical software, SPSS, is adopted to compile the data and information obtained from Wuantzy area at Highway No. 18 where a lot of field instrumentation were installed to monitor the slide of highway slope and embankment. Various figures and tables are presented and used to find out the potential caused to the slide hazard. Suitability and capability of these instrument are also evaluated.
