Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 土木工程學系碩博士班 === 94 === FWD is widely used to nondestructive testing of pavement. Today many dynamic backcalculation methods are developed on the basis of different theories, but all of them are used a time history of pulse force to simulate the falling weight. There are many types of pulse force in different backcalculation methods, and the common type is half-cycle sine pulse force and triangular pulse force. This study discusses the difference of the pulse force and the falling weight, and the difference of the different pulse force types. This study obtained that the pulse force causes the same deflection as the falling weight. Therefore we can use a pulse force to simulate the falling weight. The different pulse force types cause the same maximum deflection and so we can different types to simulate pulse force. In some specific condition that the duration of time history of pulse force do not have influence on the maximum deflection.
