By comparing the stress intensity factors for different crack profiles with their appropriate published results, the variations of stress intensity factors on center and edge locations have been investigated. The Mesh Generation system consists of ANSYS, a finite element method analysis program, and is combined with Microsoft Visual Basic to form the system.
