Summary:碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 應用數學系所 === 94 === The stress intensity factors of pipes containing an elliptical arc of crack have been evaluated by collapsed singular element with the more detailed mesh on crack front and their respective adjacent areas. By comparing the stress intensity factors for different crack profiles with their appropriate published results, the variations of stress intensity factors on center and edge locations have been investigated. The Mesh Generation system consists of ANSYS, a finite element method analysis program, and is combined with Microsoft Visual Basic to form the system. By using this system one can have the benefit of saving time and manpower.
