Summary:碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 高階經理人碩士在職專班 === 94 === Abstract This empirical study examines performance drivers of Financial Holding Company (FHC) in Taiwan. Test sample are 14 Financial Holding Company from 2002 to 2004. Factors include Return on Assets, Return on Equity, Debt Ratio which are evidenced important factors affects operating performance or capital adequacy ratio in literature. Empirical results showed that most of our hypotheses are not consisted by our statistic test. However, we found that Debt Ratio was relevant factor affected capital adequacy ratio during tested period. The reason why our results are not consistent with literature might due to the reliability of Financial Holding Company’s financial report.
