To investigate the substrate effect with distance. To study the inductor behaviors with dummy metal under spiral inductor in layout. To discuss high coupling transformer and the RF MEMs switch. The second part uses foundry 0.18um CMOS process to design a down conversion mixer for 802.11b/g WLAN 2.4GHz ISM band applications. The RF frequency is at 2.4GHz, LO frequency is at 2.2GHz, and IF frequency is at 200MHz.
