| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 環境工程學系所 === 94 === According to the definition from United Nation Environment Programmed (UNEP), “an organization report is not just a report, but an information that gather all related parties and lead to an organizational improvement.”(UNEP,2001) Thus, organization environment and sustainable report are not just tools that companies use to communicate with outside world, but also can be used as self-improvement and self-criticism tools. The way an organization manages her image and reputation, besides the product quality and service, it is also dependent on the contribution that the organization gives to the environment and the society. Therefore nowadays, MNCs are enthusiastic with the trend for their sustainable development.
EIT belongs to a Japanese MNC; Epson Industrial Taiwan Corporation, its main job is to produce LCD panel and ship to China for fabrication. In recent years, EIT puts lots of human and material resources for environmental protection and industry hygiene related work. The result is being well praised and affirmed in the society. The following article discussed the experience from how EIT executes green production model factory, the idea that integrate the factory’s management and green management, and use green design and manufacture for its product as the main goal. Through EITs main eco=activity (produce and provide the world-friendly products, transform manufacturing process to reduce the environment workload, utilize the end-product and recycles, environment beneficial contribution and infarction-sharing, and sustained improvement on environment and green factory) to accomplish the idea, and compare its environmental report with GRI 2002 guideline to understand the situation.
