Photovoltaic-Fuel Cell (PVFC) hybrid system , it couples a photovoltaic generator (PV), electrolyser , storage gas tank , proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) to give different system topologies. The system can get the recycled energy in order to use repeatedly , and solve the problem of the environmental pollution at present effectively. Electricity is produced by PV , whenever there is enough solar radiation, the user load can be powered totally by the PV electricity. An electrolyser for electrolytic water is powered by the excess energy from the PV generator to produce hydrogen and oxygen. The PEM fuel cell consumes gases which are produced by an electrolyser to meet the user load demand when the PV generator energy is deficient and coming proves by the simulation software program Simplorer. The PVFC hybrid system component models design are evaluated according to the measured data of the components, from the manufacturer’s data sheet and actual system operation.
