Summary: | 碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 管理研究所 === 94 === This research is focused on a feasibility analysis of the PDM System development for CNC factory. It helps to understand the factory’s resources and operation flows in the sample factory. By using the IDEF0 and computer simulation technique, we established simulation patterns of operation models and measured the performance of every activity in order to identify the bottlenecks and proposed improvement plans.
The data collected methods include time study, history records statistics and process derivation. The statistical analysis is based on the Best-Fit Method. The bottlenecks of all factory operations are discovered mainly on the design phase. Then, we simulate different scenarios by different seasons, and different types of orders. And after justifying the bottleneck processes by introducing a primitive PDM System, we found significant improvement on time, cost, and quality. This research also provides a strong evidence for the decision-making process to promote the enterprise compatibility.
