The effects of herding affected all of these, which behaved as many others did. It means that not only individuals take herding behaviors, but also the enterprises do.
A Study of the Taiwanese Securities Firms'' IT Decision for adoption internet trading system to explains display herding behaviors with the theory of diffusion of innovation (Roger, 1995). We provided questionnaires to the member of various TMT, and visited the high-level managers of 4 different security companies to study their herding behaviors
The results of this study indicated that the diversity and perceived risk of TMT affect their decisions to take herding behaviors. The proves as following:
1.The TMT diversity may impacts of the conformity decision. The more diversity of the TMT, the less possibility they will make complied decision.
2.Organizations may imitate strategy of competitors, even their strategies have already set before hand.
3.The recognized the perceived risk of the strategic decision by the security dealers, may cause the organizations take the conformity decision.
4.There is a negative relationship between TMT diversity and the perceived risk recognition.
5.The research identifies that under the interaction between TMT diversity and perceived risk recognition may be impacts upon the Herding Organizational Decision-making.
