With the advancement of information technology, the ways people live have changed enormously. The popularity of Internet greatly influences the ways people shop, work, and even think. The internet prompts businesses to make more profits and values through exploitation of the technology. Most prior research about procurement has focused on the ways that average consumers make procurement, not organizations. Research that has focused on organization procurement usually does not take into account the use of the Internet. This study investigates which aspects of traditional organization procurement behaviors are still retained with the use of the internet. It attempts to accomplish the following: 1. Investigate the related factors that influence organization procurement. 2. Use the typical characteristics of e-commerce to investigate the related factors that influence organization procurement. 3. By using a questionnaire, investigate the critical factors that influence business transactions. We have finished the outline of the questionnaire, later we will do the pre-test, and the modification of the questionnaire. The research exploited questionnaire to investigate which factors influence organization procurement behaviors and discovered those encompass: 1. Environment factor: global economy circumstances, governmental spread and counseling policies toward e-commerce, trend of globalization, pressure from competitors who deploy e-commerce. 2. Organization factor: the degree of formalization of organization procurement procedures, organization’s inclination to accept creativity, support from high level managers, degree of organization’s knowledge for e-commerce. 3. Personal factor: procurement specialist’s knowledge for the industry, procurement specialist’s attitude towards circumventing risks, procurement specialist’s experience in past transactions. 4. Product factor: degree of customization of procured products, market branding impression, product price, product service, product quality. 5. Information factor: information provided by salesperson, exhibition, and website search. 6. IT factor: availability of e-commerce platforms, security of e-commerce payment mechanism, integrity of data transmission, integration conformance with cooperating corporations’ systems.
