Taking samples in Taoyuan, Hsinchu and Miaoli counties, the study is intended to understand technology coordinators’ feelings towards work and the work pressure perceived then suggestions will be given to help them reduce work pressure as will as promote organizational commitment. This study uses self-designed questionnaires, entitled “A survey of the work pressure and organizational commitment of coordinators in junior high schools” to proceed the survey. The objects taken in this survey are the technology coordinators in 104 junior nigh schools in Taoyuan, Hsinchu and Miaoli counties. Among them, 94 samples are effective and the percentage of the usable questionnaires is 90.38%. The information of the collected questionnaires is analyzed by the ways of descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffé''s post hoe test and so forth. The followings are the results of this study: The aspect of the work pressure: It shows that in the entire aspect of the work pressure, technology coordinators are under more pressure if their working years are shorter, the size of their schools are smaller, or their working hours per week are longer. In different phases of the work pressure, it shows that technology coordinators are under more pressure if their working years are shorter, the sizes of their schools are smaller, their working hours per week are longer, or their interests towards computers are lower. The aspect of the organizational commitment: It shows that technology coordinators have stronger sense of belongings if the sizes of their schools are bigger. In different phases of the organizational commitment, it shows that technology coordinators have stronger senses of belongings if they are older, their working years are longer, the sizes of their schools are bigger, or their working hours per week are shorter. Work pressure and organizational commitment appear to be related negatively. It shows that organizational commitment is lower if technology coordinators are under higher pressure. At last, it is followed by an analysis according to the above results of the study to make conclusions and to provide suggestions as references for educational administrative organizations, administrative units in junior high schools and the future possible related studies.
