A Primary Study Refers to the Disequilibrium of Secondary School Teacher’s Supply and Demand as Well as It’s Adapation Strategies

碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 教育研究所碩士在職專班 === 94 === The Teacher’s Nurtured Law (TNL)has been amended for 12 years since 1994. Due to the change of the TNL, the decreasing of the child birth rate, the impact of nine-year curriculum, the revision of teacher retirement policy and the shortage of the educational budget causing the problem of the disequilibrium of teachers supply and demand getting worse. However, under the circumstance of this disequilibrium, the volunteers, who are devoted to become teachers, need to spend a lot of time and energy to achieve the goal. Thus, the purpose of this study is to find out the adaptation strategies for the solution of secondary school teachers’ disequilibrium. In order to attain the purpose, this study adopted secondary data analysis to calculate the ratio of the normal proportion of school teachers, classes, students to explain the disequilibrium of teachers’ supply and demand. This study also adopted Delphi Technique to collect adaptation strategies from educational administrative professionals. The findings of this study revealed that the students per class and the proportion of teacher and students are two important items which influence this disequilibrium. Therefore, the suggestions referred to reducing the number of students of each class and raising the proportion of every teacher and students are given to our education authority to adapt this equilibrium.
