First of all, pet owners need to pay close attention to their pet''s hygiene for disease prevention and oral cleanliness. This paper investigates the historical review concerning a dog''s oral cavity, dental conformation, function, oral cavity diseases, psychological aspects of the dog, behavioral reaction and an analysis of dental care products for dogs. This study applies the investigation by the use of questionnaires, analysis, and generalizes that the people who examine the difficulty of keeping the pet dog''s teeth clean. The specialized pet doctor''s interview, with his consultation and suggestions are offered. This paper is aimed at probing into a part of pet dog oral cleanliness and the designing of an oral cleanliness tool for dogs. The design concept was visualized for having control over the design direction, positioning and design criteria in order to create an oral cleanliness tool for their pet dogs in the future for the use of the general public.
