碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 設計創作研究所碩士班 === 94 === When information can be transmitted to everywhere through the Internet, websites has become the most direct tool for presenting information in the “information-freeway”. Thus the user interface of websites plays the role as a bridge of communication and interaction between users and websites. In this thesis, emphasis on the design of user interfaces in websites, rules of design adopted from scholars’ researches are applied practically to websites designs. By virtue of designing the website of “the Student Affairs Office of Ming-Chuan University”, applied design rules and derivative design problems during the design process were estimated and resolved by practical suggestions; furthermore, a reference model was offered for the user interface of school websites.
