In recent years, the domestic eco-tourism activities day after day received people’s attention, and vigorously develop along with the government lists tourism as the key support industry. Moreover promotes local industry reforming and the economic development. Because the government invests on the infrastructure in the Ci-gu area, which is a lagoon area, rubber raft industry, the snack industry, restaurant industry and other eco-tourism activities have gradually attracted more tourists. These kinds of economic activity encourage the development of local tourism industries, and bring quite contribution to local economy.
This research penetrates a multiplier model, analyzes the economic effects which the eco-tourism of Ci-gu area produces. The analysis result showed that, the economic impact of the eco-tourism, contain two parts: the direct effect and indirectly influence. The direct influence on the eco-tourism industry is that total output is 4,180 million dollar; The indirect effect is 7.222 million dollar. Tourism multiplier is 2.2, that means each tourist consumes one dollar, probably has 2.2 time of benefits to the local economy. These findings not only can be an example of tourism development for other industries on similar area, but also can be decision-making references for the government correlated unit.
