| Summary: | 碩士 === 立德管理學院 === 工業管理研究所 === 94 === Analyzing the performance evaluation of three marine transit companies in Taiwan is the main propose of this research. According to their performance evaluation in recent seven years, we attempt to make use of data envelopment analysis methodology to analyze performance evaluation of each company and provide the performance that can improve their performance evaluation of each company. In addition, the research uses fourteen variable items for input and output to measure objects of study, and performs the analysis according to the yearly data. To induce the relative efficiency of each corporation could be a reference in the future.
Summarizing the empirical result of the research, we can improve the efficient problem of arranging for staffs and allocate each empty container properly to reduce operating cost for marine companies in Taiwan. Finally, this research suggests each company should purchase bigger boats to fill the bill nowadays.
