It is important to provide Uninterruptible power supply (UPS) quality of safety for telecom industry, in Taiwan. Through the analysis of characteristics on On-Line battery set can be to prevent fault and draft effective management strategy.
The aim of this research is to study the characteristics of the On-Line battery set in telecom industry and to relief the crisis of electric supply, through the useful management measures.
The first step of this research is to realize the power consumption characteristics of the On-Line battery set. Afterwards the sampling customers are installed monitor equipment to gather power consumption data. Then the collected and measured data are compared to summarize the contents of UPS management measures so that an effective battery management strategy can be planned.
Results indicated that the analysis and measurement on On-Line battery set can prevent fault and boost the safety and stability of power.
Finally, it is suggested that the research shall focus on the processing equipment characteristics and the power consumption characteristics of each individual industry with Hi-Tech. It is also desired that a feasible UPS management strategy is mapped out in assisting the other industries to reduce cost and boost the competitiveness.
