Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 工業工程與管理系碩士班 === 94 === This study evaluates the efficiency of the research performance of universities in Taiwan through Data Envelopment Analysis. Via Pearson correlate analysis and eight elements of input and output. The input are the percentage of instructors and students, the expense of teaching research and discipline and counseling of per student, and the percentage of full-time instructors with a doctor’s degree. And the output includes the percentage of graduates with Master and Doctor degrees, the average of instructors who gain the programs from National Scientific Conference, the average of instructors who publish papers on the journals of SCI, SSCI, and AHCI, the percentage of paper on the journals of SCI, SSCI, and AHCI quoted, and the average of instructors’ patents and publishing. Besides, the study uses Malmquist productivity index to analyze multi-period efficiency of each school. Finally, it uses Tobit regression to analyze among the environmental variables of universities (such as property right, teaching hours), interference variables and efficiency.
