If the toothbrush that you use does harm to your hands, like over crooked or wrong size for your hands, these inappropriate action may be one of the reason that hurts muscle and bones day after day. Therefore, this study aims at six different brands of toothbrushes that sell in the market. Bass method of brushing was adopted for its common use. The participant brushed with these six toothbrushes in order with Bass method of brushing. The related experimental data were data-collected by using EMG system and KINE VIEW system. Data analysis aims to look into the different muscular load and the degree variation of wrist joints on each type of toothbrush. This research aims to understand the participant’s muscular movement of flexor digiti minimi, flexor carpi radialis, flexor carpi ulnaris and participant’s incidence of wrist Ulnar Deviation and Radial Deviation, when they use different kinds of toothbrushes, and further to find out the best designing factor. With statistical analysis and hypotheses testing, the research concluded that the toothbrush with shuttle shape and bent neck is the best design in human factor.
