These INVs begin with a global view of their markets, and develop the capabilities needed to achieve their international goals at or near the firm’s founding. Therefore in this study which focuses on the phenomenon of early internationalization and the capabilities that INVs leverage for achieving superior performance in international markets, and investigates the determinants of propensity to undertake international expansion especially for early internationalization behaviors operated by INVs in Taiwan. Furthermore, this study attempt links elements of strategy and entrepreneurship and as well as highlighting the important links between entrepreneurial resources, capability upgrading and international performance for these INVs. This paper contributes on develop and empirically test a new model of INVs that build on recent progress in the knowledge-base of the firm and on entrepreneurship theory.
