The second chapter is an introduction of Teru Miyamoto and his famous work: Maborosinohikari. The third chapter focuses on the distinctions and difficulties in literary genre, novel translation. The forth chapter describes the principle and the three strategies used in translating this work. The fifth chapter deals with the employment of translation skills, the difficulties encountered, and the solutions to the difficulties. The sixth chapter sums up the findings and suggestions derived from the translating process.
