The textile industry of Taiwan was deeply impacted, and in the duration of SARS, the demand of protective apparel has largely increased. Nevertheless, due to:1.Insufficiency of Users’ Knowledge, 2. Lack of Quality Requirement and Controlling and Management, 3. Shortage of Supply, deficiencies in defense against SARS have been induced. In order to develop both physically and mentally satisfying protective products for users, this study focused on not only medical staff but also the public to find out how different users and their environment, their level of product knowledge influence their weighing of different needs for attributes of protective apparel’s. Therefore such findings may help the textile industry to develop suitable protective apparel tallied with user’ needs. The Study has taken the “Quantitatively Positive Law” and “reliability analysis” consistently. Throughout the process of “item analysis”, this study would like to discover the confidence intervals of each dimension. Furthermore, this study has conducted “validity analysis” to decide whether the measurement tools are able to examine these target attributes. Every measurement item is processed through reference of bibliographies, observations and contemplations. Also, related professionals were invited to examine this study in order to satisfy both face validity and content validity of the question items. The study provides five findings in view of managerial issue: 1.Users see “security “as the most important attribute of protective apparel than other attributes. 2.How much users weigh for main attributes of protective apparel differ from its categories. 3.Females’ needs for “comfort”, “security” and “value” of protective apparels are significantly higher than males’ needs for those attributes. 4.People who aged 30 to 39 focus more on “comfort” and “security” of protective apparel. 5.The demand of people whose education leveled university for protective apparel’s attributes is much more distinctive. Hope that the investigation findings of this study could provide reference for research and development or purchase of protective apparels. Guo-Fong, Liao 廖國鋒 2004 學位論文 ; thesis 70 zh-TW |

碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 織品服裝學系 === 92 === In May, 2003, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Main Land China had been overwhelmed by SARS.
The study provides five findings in view of managerial issue:
1.Users see “security “as the most important attribute of protective apparel than other attributes.
