Summary: | 碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 物理學系 === 94 === Zinc Selenide thin film is a high refractive index material therefore it is used in the application of multilayer coatings. The influence on the optical properties of Zinc Selenide thin films fabricated by ion-beam assisted deposition (IAD) was investigated in this study. Zinc Selenide thin films were deposited on unheated glass substrates by means of thermal evaporation with different ion-beam voltage, V. The refractive index, extinction coefficient, packing density, transmittance, and photoluminescence were measured and correlated closely to the applied ion-beam energies. Through IAD technique, it was demonstrated that the optical properties can be tailored by using different ion-beam voltages 20 V, 30 V, and 40 V, respectively.
