Description
Summary:碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 兒童與家庭學系碩士班 === 95 === This research is aimed to explore primary school fifth and sixth Graders’perception of emotional contents in parenting. Moreover, the family types influenced by the children’s feeling and experiences about parenting are also investigated. The sample of this study is 33 fifth and sixth Graders from a class of one elementary school in Taipei County. The researcher uses qualitative methods including discussion, writing, and interviews to let the children convey their thoughts not only through spoken words and body languages but writing and self-reflection. These multi-methods are expected to catch the real feelings and experiences towards parenting in natural circumstances. The results of the study are listed as follows: (一)In brief, children’s perceptions of emotional contents in parenting can be described as the fulfillment of emotional needs. (二)The family types influenced by the children’s feeling and experiences about parenting are classified into five categories. (三)In different families types, children’s perceptions of emotional contents in parenting are different. (四)Using the core theme—“ emotional contents” , the findings are divided into 5 parts for further explanation and discussion. Finally, the researcher concludes and make further suggestions. Through the exploring process of this study, new connotations and reflection of parent-child interaction are expected to emerge. Hopefully, this study will provide some helpful thoughts for future researchers.
