The concept of ecomuseum and the theory of ecotourism, as well as the philosophy of co-existence of life, business, and ecology, are referred to in the study, with the aim to promote the integration of ecotourism, ecomuseum, and L.A.. SWTO analysis is employed to identify new opportunities for local L.A., which could serve to promote sustainable development of the area and the creation of quality living space rich in local characteristics. Questionnaires are used to survey local L.A. business operators’ evaluation of the impact and future development of related activities. Visitors are also asked to fill out questionnaires to indicate their perception and evaluation of L.A.. Effective questionnaires are gathered and analyzed, using SPSS for Windows, v. 10.0 (Chinese version) and MS Office Excel 2003. The results are used to analyze and verify hypotheses proposed in the study through Descriptive Analysis, Coefficient of Variation, Reliability Analysis and independent sample t-test. The results show that, on average, the business operators are rather unaware of the impact of L.A.. Dispersal is significant in terms of awareness scores, consistency missing. Generally, business operators are quite positive about the development of ecomuseum and ecotourism in leisure agricultural areas. Dispersal is less significant with greater consistency. Visitors are less positive about their experiences of L.A.. Dispersal is significant with consistency lacking. Visitors generally have high expectations of L.A.. Dispersal is less significant with greater consistency. Also seen among visitors are positive attitudes toward the development of ecomuseum and ecotourism in leisure agricultural areas. Dispersal is less significant with greater consistency. The study finds in ten items statistically significant differences between visitors’ actual experiences and expectations of L.A.. Comparing both visitors’ and business operators’ evaluation of future L.A. developments, the study also finds in six items statistically significant differences. The study makes a conclusion focusing on the survey results and basic characteristics of business operators in and visitors to Yi-lan County. Suggestions based on the analysis and in-depth business operator interviews are also made to serve as references for future leisure agricultural development in the County. 【keyword】Ecology,Ecomuseum,Ecotourism,Leisure agricultural area 李元和 2006 學位論文 ; thesis 121 zh-TW
