It focused on the change of valve overlap angles that uses electromagnetic drive method to draw the ideal variable valve timing graph. From the work principles of electromagnetic valve, the control valve system must open and close the valve precisely. Then the results of the experiment could be applied on the engines. The use of electromagnetic valve timing is to replace the camshaft and valve rocker arms of 4-stroke engine, and minimize the mechanical resistance and noise. Besides, to use the electromagnetic to drive the valve directly, this can change the timing and duration of the valve freely. In fact, it makes the idea of continuous variable valve timing possible. This design concept focuses on how to make electromagnetic coils turn on and turn off accurately and timely. Through a 4-axis quadrature encoder and counter card collect signals, and then program executes to distinguish the output control. From the work principles of electromagnetic valve, the control valve system must open and close the valve precisely. Then the results of the experiment could be applied on the engines.
