In recent years, NATs have been researched, and have been found gradually. There are ~2500 mammalian NATs that have been found recently but because the researches of NATs are just beginning, there should be a lot of novel NATs that have not been discovered. In this research, first we use bioinformatics approach to detect NATs of six organisms. Also, we further detect human tissue-specific NATs and human cancer-specific NATs. We identified 16,710 human NATs and 11,996 non-exon overlap bi-directional clusters (NOB). In these NATs, we found that the longest overlapping length is 352,960bp, and the lengths of most NATs are 0 to 1000 bp. In tissue-specific natural antisense transcripts, there are 7,617 NATs whose |LOD| (Log odd ratio) bigger than 2 and 4,093 NATs whose |LOD| bigger than 3. In cancer-specific natural antisense transcripts, there are 1,664 NATs whose |LOD| bigger than 2 and 749 NATs whose |LOD| bigger than 3; in cancer-specific of natural antisense transcripts in particular tissue, the number of |LOD| bigger than 2 is 1,473 and the number of |LOD| bigger than 3 is 637.
