Taichung, as the third largest city in Taiwan, is also facing the same situation, regardless the city government had put a lot of effort in reviving its CBD. In this study, an attempt is made to explore the possible development strategies to revive the CBD of Taichung with the CA simulation methodology. According to the analysis results, it shows that the development patterns are insensitive to the internal interactions within the CBD.
