Summary: | 碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 保險所 === 94 === After the Insurance Bureau of Financial Supervisory Commission, Executive Yuan, deregulated the electronic insurance policy, all of the electronic commerce, including offering, underwriting, cash flow and insurance policy issuing, between insurance company and consumers can be done through the internet. The “electronic insurance policy” means to make the documental insurance policy electronic, and send it through internet by e-mail. What will be the impacts of the introduction of electronic insurance police on consumers? This research investigates the cognition, purchase intention, cogitation, and demand of internet users to electronic insurance policy, and the characteristics of consumer who have intention to purchase the electronic insurance policy on internet. Our research results show:
1. The consumer who are male, education level over graduate school, and monthly average income over $60,000 have significant cognition to electronic insurance policy. The consumers who have significant intention to purchase electronic insurance policy can be clustered into two groups, student group and work group. They are age between 20 and 29, unmarried, and daily average internet access time between 2 to 3 hours.
2. The consumers who have intention to purchase electronic insurance policy or not attach great importance to “the security of trade on the internet” and “the integrity of information expression.
3. The electronic insurance policy which can be popularly accepted by consumer are the short term, simple, and standard insurance, such as travel insurance, coactive automobile liability insurance, accident insurance.
