Summary: | 碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 企業管理所 === 94 === Since the establishment of e-Learning system is more and more popular, the related evaluation for this kind of educational technology becomes equivalently important. A well-rounded evaluation is able to systematically evaluate which aspects the e-Learning system should be improved, sustained, or developed. However, the issue about constructing a systematic evaluative instrument is seldom explored, especially as the evaluation is taken for web-based instruction system – the asynchronous distance educational system.
For the reason, in order to create a systematic and helpful evaluation tool for web-based instruction system, this study takes Feng Chia University as an example to make a summative evaluation with students, whose teachers have been used the web-based instruction system, Blackboard Academic Suite, to assist them in tuition, and to evaluate students’ learning effectiveness with the framework consisted of five constructs of administrative assist, system design, instructor characteristics, learner characteristics, and material content for finding out the critical factors of affecting web-based instruction system.
With the 469 valid samples, the researcher can conclude that:
(1)The administrative assist has significant effect on the learning effectiveness.
(2)The system design has significant effect on the learning effectiveness.
(3)The instructor characteristics have significant effect on the learning effectiveness.
(4)The learner characteristics have significant effect on the learning effectiveness.
(5)The material content has significant effect on the learning effectiveness.
