Summary:碩士 === 大葉大學 === 休閒事業管理學系碩士在職專班 === 94 === ABSTRACT This study focused on the exploration of consumer behavior, leisure needs, and consumer satisfaction of home stay consumers. A well-defined and structured questionnaire was applied to survey the consumers in Siaobantian community at Lugu Township, Nantou County and 375 questionnaires were distributed, and 267 effective questionnaires were retrieved. Statistic methods including descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, Chi-square test and Pearson product-moment correlation were used for exploration the data and testing proposed hypothecs. Major findings of this study were concluded as followings: 1. The main items of leisure needs of consumers when stayed in home stay were relax and rest. Searching and experiencing new things is another leisure need as well. 2. The most satisfied items for consumers after stayed in home stay included food and beverage, environment, facility, and service. 3. There were significantly different on leisure needs with different occupations, life-cycle of family, residence place as well as consumers’ satisfaction. Moreover, there existed significant differences on consumers’ behaviors with different visiting periods, visiting date in a week, visiting partners, expenditures. 4. There was significant positive and linear relationship between leisure needs and leisure satisfaction when stayed in home stay.
