This research made use of the first specialized publishing company of the middle and primary schools textbook in Taiwan – K Company as convenient sample. 644 out of the 700 questionnaires given out were returned (92% return rate). After eliminating incomplete and invalid samples, 622 questionnaires remained (89% effective rate). The present research found the demographic variables for had significant result with importance and satisfaction of incentive system. Among all incentive system, there was overweight extrinsic financial rewards dimension. In addition, demographic variables – education, service seniority, and post classification had significant effect with incentive system, job involvement and job satisfaction. While gender, education, and post classification are significantly related to the incentive system, job involvement and job satisfaction. The empirical result of this study found that there was positive correlation between incentive system, job involvement and job satisfaction. There was 10.6% job involvement can be explained by incentive system. There was 45.2% job satisfaction can be explained by incentive system. There was 14.4% job involvement can be explained by job satisfaction, and 14.8% job satisfaction was attributed to job involvement.
