Even if males are serving as kindergarten teachers at the present, the ratio of male teachers to female teachers is very small. Because the male teachers are a high visible in the workplace, the importance of gender roles and the effect on gender toward occupational attitude of male teacher should be researched. This study was to investigate the gender role of males in the kindergarten educational workplace that is overwhelmingly by females. Additionally, it is intended to study the occupational attitude of males in the kindergarten educational workplace and their occupational fitness. Another goal is to increase the understanding those of society towards male teachers, and to encourage males who are interested in becoming kindergarten teachers. The main research targets are three male kindergarten teachers. Auxiliary research targets are their partner teachers and parents. Research data were obtained by semi-structured interviews. The result is that three male teachers still stand this occupation chosen by themselves. They think that if their personalities and the demand of being kindergarten teachers are a match, the males should approved to be kindergarten teachers. Providing further support, the partner teachers and parents also all indicate positive thoughts above as to males serving as kindergarten teachers.
