There is research on Beauveria bassiana fungi spore to increase its storage stability. Corn oil was chosen as carrier after it was removed with its water content which may cause the death of fungi spore during the storage at ambient temperature. The corn oil was treated with proper anti-oxidant before the coated spore was mixed with the oil. Then the oil formulations were stored at 25℃ for 6 months. The germination rates of these improved formulations have shown much better storage stability. This research also diluted the oil formulations of Beauveria bassiana into the spray solutions of 1×107 connidia/mL 及 3×107 conidia/mL for the bio-efficacy study. The results showed that these new oil formulations have good bio-efficacy. The development of slow-release formulations of pheromone Z-8-DDA includes the research of rubber iron wire and microcapsule formulation. In rubber iron wire formulation, the selection of SBS rubber as carrier gave the similar release rate of Z-8-DDA for 5 months. The 2 % thickness of the microcapsule was properly adjusted to match its release rate lasting for 5 months. The bio-efficacy tests of microcapsule and rubber formulations were carried out in Miao-Li and Yuen-Lin areas.
