By using the Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH), the technical interoperability problems among distributed archives will be improved, and the Deep Web question in an archives organization is also mended. In addition, the archives system becomes more suitable for typical web service by using the DP9 service’s HTML format translation functions. However, coming along with the quick development of Internet and World Wide Web, the huge amount of data in such HTML based archives system has prevented a user from searching his/her data easily. Therefore, a new mechanism for user to efficiently retrieve up to date information from these resources has become an important research issue. In this project, we proposed an XSLT-based transformation mechanism to transform the OAI Records of a web page to syndication document formats (such as RSS 1.0, RSS 2.0 and Atom 1.0). The main benefit of the proposed mechanism is that it synchronized the records (web resources) in the client site with those of the server site.
