| Summary: | 碩士 === 朝陽科技大學 === 財務金融系碩士班 === 94 === The research uses “Data Envelopment Analysis” to analyze “the index of serving students” and “teaching and research efficiency” of eight national universities of technology and fourteen private universities of technology in the academic years of 2000~2003 to explore each school’s devotion degree of developing students’ professional learning capability and teachers’ performance on research.
The research’s major discoveries are as follows:
1. From the manifestation of “the index of serving students,” I found that the performance of private universities of technology invest more funds on the students if the establishment of a school comes from a religious group or a financial group.
2. From the manifestation of “teaching and research efficiency,” I found that on research, the performance of private universities of technology is inferior to the one of national universities of technology.
