The results indicated bur grass, junglerice, bermudagrass, and feather cockscomb can survive on high polluted soil with the high concentration of Cd (4.3 μg/g), Cr (857.2 μg/g), Cu (963.3 μg/g), Ni (621.7 μg/g), Pb (98.3 μg/g), and Zn (994.9 μg/g). Futhermore, these plants can uptake the heavy metals from the soil. Heavy metals uptake by these pants was in the following order: Zn>Ni>Cu>Cr>Pd>Cd. The Cd, Cu, Ni, Zn content of junglerice were 2.9 μg/g, 98.48 μg/g , 367.3 μg/g, and 332.7 μg/g, respectively. Feather cockscomb contained 31.75 μg/g of Cr, and 11.1 μg/g of Pb in the dry matter. According to the biomass, growing rate of plants and heavy metal accumulate ability, it was concluded that Junglerice and Feather cockscomb have higher phytoremediation potential. than the other plants.
