Description
Summary:碩士 === 朝陽科技大學 === 環境工程與管理系碩士班 === 94 === Synthetic resin has brought great contribution to our economic development. Imperceptibly, the synthetic resin has brought pollution and damage to our environment. The environment of global management has faced major crisis, and the subject of enterprise environmental protection is unavoidable. This study is focused on the case studies of PU solvent, aqueous PU and TPU, and performs life cycle analysis. Moreover, through software function from SimaPro 5.0 Eco-Indicator 99 to quantify each kilogram of production to raw material transportation, manufacture, and product transportation toward the degree of potential environmental impact. With combination of eco-efficiency assessment, it is possible construct PU synthetic resin milestone for eco-efficiency assessment. This in fact is to encourage enterprise to comply with the trends, and also to eliminate the barrier of trading and step towards sustainable development. According to the results, among the 11 environmental impact categories, the PU solvent has greater influence to aspiration of inorganic substance, fossil fuel and ecology toxicity when the raw materials are under investing and packaging processes. Aqueous PU has greater influence to fossil fuel and mineral regarding environmental impact categories when investing and manufacturing processes. TPU has greater affect to acidification, nourishment and land usage for environmental impact categories when investing and packaging processes. Eco-efficiency assessment of every kilogram of PU produced, aqueous PU has the highest value ($629.3±212.0 /Pt), followed by TPU ($265.7±60.6/Pt) and PU solvent ($233.2±3.8/Pt). Finally, combined with the value towards environmental impact ratio, eco-efficiency assessment and management, the eco-efficiency assessment for aqueous PU 2.7 is higher compared with TPU 1.1. This shows that future potential of aqueous PU is worth keep an eye on.
