Summary: | 碩士 === 朝陽科技大學 === 工業工程與管理系碩士班 === 94 === This thesis is aimed to probe into the relationships between the personalities, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment of the employees of Taiwan Water Corporation. In order to collect the practical data for this study, the first step is to consult relevant documents – domestic and abroad alike – so as to construct “personality index,” “job satisfaction index,” and “organizational commitment index” especially fit for the employees of Taiwan Water Corporation. Questionnaires with these index are dispatched among the population of Taiwan Water Corporation on the basis of stratified random sampling. Among the 500 questionnaires dispatched in total, 357 are returned, the return rate being 71.4%; among the 357 returned questionnaires, 15 are invalid, the valid return rate being 68.4%. All the valid index are dealt with factor analysis, multivariate analysis of variance, Pierre’s relevant analysis, canonical correlation analysis, and stepwise multiple regression analysis to test the hypothesis of this research.
As a result of all the analyses mentioned above, this research obtains some conclusions as follows:
1.Different background variables make obvious differences in the employee’s personality, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment.
2.There are some correlations among the employee’s personalities, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment of the employees of Taiwan Water Corporation.
3.There are positive correlations among employee’s open-mindedness, extroversion, devotedness, and pleasant attitudes as shown in the scales of personality, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment.
4.There are negative correlations among employee’s nervousness, promotion, superior, colleagues, value commitment, effort commitment, and retention commitment as shown in the scales of personalities.
5.In the scales of personalities and job satisfaction of the employees of Taiwan Water Corporation, the index of open-mindedness, job, colleague relation, and extroversion can best predict the employee’s total organization commitment.
