In past times, the 120mm high-explosive shell applied the package which generates more material variation stored after a long time. These variations will introduce the safe issue of storing such shell package, for instance, bad shell-case material, lack of better storing facilities, and plastic shell body with intumescence and yeast. Therefore, this study aimed at how to employ the current facility and the use of technologies to improve the foregoing issue. In this work, we employ polypropylene composition (PF0301) as an example, and use the gray system theory to research and analyze the impact of various reference data on the product structure. The work also applies mold-flow analysis program to plastic shell-case formation, and gives the relational data from the procedure of test and verification. Also, the correlation between process parameter and product structural strength is obtained by using gray correlation analysis to acquire the optimization design which increases the process yield rate. These foregoing efforts can then achieve the low cost, low manpower, light shell-case, recycled reuse, and satisfying the requirements of users.
