| Summary: | 碩士 === 中原大學 === 文化資產研究所 === 94 === Although the preliminary investigation had been done for the historical building restoration, dissection and investigation cannot be done well and most condition be identified after the work is started. Usually, it causes to change the original design and delay the work. The purpose of dissection and investigation is to ameliorate the shortcomings of investigation, which can only observe the contour and not tell the detail as well as the formation of some structures. The other purpose is to examine the original design principals and budget.
Dissection and investigation is the first step of the project. Ministry of the interior has promulgated 《Historic Building Restoration Procurement Related Regulations》.Though the regulation addresses the necessary specification of dissection and investigation, it is not well-established. That generates the huge difference between the ongoing and the planned cases, which makes it hard to examine them or to implement the project .
According to the following steps, this research establishes the fundamental standards for the dissection and investigation to be correct the restoration plan：
1、Comparing the proposed cases of restoration and analyzing the unstated items as well as potential problems of the dissection and investigation of historic buildings in Taiwan.
2、 engaged in the project of 「The construction of dissection and investigation for the Historic Building in Hsin Chu Country -the Chiang’s Tomb」and discussing the weakness of the dissection and investigation of historic buildings in Taiwan.
3、Based on the previous two steps, studying the structure of dissection and investigation of the historic buildings and bringing up the necessary specification to establish the fundamental standards for the dissection and investigation
