Description
Summary:碩士 === 中原大學 === 化學工程研究所 === 94 === The static dielectric constants of five alkanolamines and the corresponding aqueous alkanolamine solutions over the frequency range of 210 - 300 kHz for temperatures 30 ~ 55 oC were measured using a dielectric analyzer. The concentration range of aqueous alkanolamine solutions are from 0.2 to 0.8 mole fraction of alkanolamines. The systems selected for study are: di-isopropanolamine (DIPA), diethanolamine (DEA), N-methyldiethanolamine (MDEA), triethanolamine (TEA), 2-amino-2-methyl-l-propanol (AMP), ethylene glycol monobutyl ether (C4E1) and the corresponding aqueous solutions. The static dielectric constant of the fluids were obtained by averaging the values of the dielectric constants in the frequency range of 210 ~ 300 kHz. The uncertainty of the measured static dielectric constants is estimated as ± 0.15. The static dielectric constants of aqueous alkanolamine solutions decrease with increases in temperature and also decrease with increase with the mole fraction of alkanolamines in solution. The static dielectric constants of aqueous solutions were correlated by the Redlich-Kister type equation and also by some frequently used models. The average absolute percentage deviation (AAD %) for the calculations of the static dielectric constant of aqueous solutions is about 1 %, which is better than all the other models.
