Summary: | 碩士 === 中原大學 === 工業工程研究所 === 94 === This research proposes the lean production system and batch process integration model based on the discontinuous process type. The model is named “Lean-Batch Production System” which is composed of four parts. First, it defines the customer requirement clearly. Second, according to the customer requirement, it calculates the loading of the machine capacity. Third, it defines the bottleneck by the loading of the machine capacity. Last, it develops the logic to decide the batch size based on the requirement of the bottleneck. Furthermore, after executing the model in the shop floor of paper industry, it reduces the production lead time about 60%, and enhances the productivity about 32% in weight and 44% in quantity. Overall, the Lean-Batch production system has its effects for the discontinuous process type.
