Methods: Quasi-experimental design was used in this study. The experimental group received a stage-match physical activity educational program and follow-up leaflets. The control group received no intervention. A standard questionnaire was administered before and three months after intervention program. The data was analyzed by SPSS/Win 12.0 and SAS software. Results: After received the physical activity educational program, the result showed that regular physical activity in the experiment group was increased significantly. The process indicators score (knowledge of asthma physical activity and perceived benefits of physical activity) were significantly better than that of the control group under control effect of pretest and matureness. And the improvements of outcome indicators score (vigorous physical activity and moderate physical activity) were signigicantly than that of the control group. Conclusion: This study demonstrated that physical activity educational program and follow-up leaflets could improve knowledge of asthma physical activity, perceived benefits of physical activity, stage of change, vigorous physical activity, and moderate physical activity among adolescent with asthma. But the effectiveness of barriers of physical activity, self-efficacy of physical activity, social support of physical activity, and physical activity of walk without significant improvement.
