Summary: | 碩士 === 中國醫藥大學 === 中國藥學研究所 === 94 === In the present study, we investigated the anti-nociceptive effect of ethanol extracts of Dendrobium crumenatum (DCEtOH), Dendrobium moniliforme (DMEtOH) and Ephemerantha lonchophylla (ELEtOH) by acetic acid-induced writhing response, formalin test, and the anti-inflammatory effect by λ-carrageenin-induced paw edema. We also detected the changes in the activities of SOD, GSH-Rx and GSH-Px of liver to investigate the anti-oxidant of DCEtOH, DMEtOH and ELEtOH.
The results shown that DCEtOH and DMEtOH significantly inhibited the acetic acid-induced writhing response. DCEtOH significantly inhibited formalin-induced licking time during the early phase and late phase. DMEtOH significantly inhibited formalin-induced licking time during the late phase. DCEtOH, DMEtOH and EL EtOH significantly decreased the λ-carrageenin-induced paw edema. DC EtOH and EL EtOH significantly increased SOD and GSH-Px activities. DC EtOH, DMEtOH and EL EtOH significantly increased GSH-Px activities. The contents of total alkaloids was DCEtOH > DMEtOH > ELEtOH.
The results suggested that DCEtOH and DMEtOH possessed anti-nociceptive and anti-inflammatory effects. EL EtOH possessed anti-inflammatory effect. The anti-inflammatory mechanism of DC EtOH and EL EtOH may be related to the increase in the SOD and GSH-Px activities. The anti-inflammatory mechanism of DMEtOH may be related to the increase in the GSH-Px activities. The anti-nociceptive, anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant effects of DCEtOH, DMEtOH and EL EtOH effects may be related to the changes in the contents of total alkaloids.
