Summary: | 碩士 === 長庚大學 === 機械工程研究所 === 94 === This thesis is devoted to development of stamping micro-structures by rolling wheels process. Experiments were carried out on a lab-developed micro-stamping machine. This machine combines the soft mold of colloid PDMS, roller, and automatic feeding system. The roller of machine is cutting a fillister which store PDMS on the surface, and the experiment material is UV-curable resist. When the roller rotate, UV-curable material will coated on the PDMS mold. The soft mold surface have micro-structure, the material will fill these micro-cavity. Then these micro-structures are cured by UV-light.
The dimension of micro-cavity is 200μm × 80μm × 40μm. These micro-structure are lower than micro-cavity, because the resist is effect by universal gravitation. When the UV-curable resist absorb enough energy, the micro-structure will to be getting the dimension of mold cavity. If the speed of substrate is too fast, the micro-structure has slide. When the power of UV-light is strong enough, the slide phenomenon have die out. However, the UV- curable resist absorb enough energy, micro-structure must be perfect.
In this study, a micro-stamping machine and system are setup. This system can print micro-structure successfully and quickly. The potential of the rolling micro-stamping is demonstrated.
