At present, most of the companies play as to customize products and shorten lead time for supplying products. Reducing the lead time for production logistics management is very important in the customer-centered supply chain management. The influence of hot press process on cell gap uniformity is very important in LCD panel process. In order to improve the LCD cell gap stability, in this work, we study the effects upon the cell gap stability caused by hot-press and spacer spry process. We improve the LCD cell gap uniformity via tooling stable control, hot press pressure, hot press cushion material choose and spacer spray quantity, etc. The experiment results show that we increase the cell gap Cp and Cpk values from 0.7~0.9 to 1.1~1.2 and reduce the standard deviation values from 0.6~0.8 to 0.5~0.6.
