| Summary: | 碩士 === 長庚大學 === 工業設計研究所 === 94 === Because of the changing of living space and lifestlye, the needs for the electric bed at home are followed. And the ajustable appropriateness of the electric bed for medical care can improve the physiological degeneracy of the elderly. However there are only few studies to treat the relationship between the posture and the electric bed. In fact, the correct postures are strong related to the health. The appropriate setups of angle improve the posture comfort and prevent the physiological injury resulted from inappropriate posture. Through the presetted model, we can decrease the mental load of the elderly when they operate the product.
This research, focus on the elderly, aims to build the best user mode of the electric bed which conforms to the user need. To evaluate various postures in different activities on the electric bed by the meaturement of subjective rating of comfort and objective pressure distribution. Finally, to integrate the user mode on the controller of the electric bed, let the elderly to operate easily to decrease the mental load caused by the conganization impairement of the elderly. Through providing such product service, which conforms to the physiological and psychological attributes, user need, and the independent live of the elderly, they can enjoy the convenience from the technology more healthly and comfortblely.
According to the result, this research comes out the user mode setting to conform the physiological and psychological need of the elderly. The mode of rest and make a phone call: the angle setting is “ 30 degree elevation of the backrest of the bed and 15 degree elevation of the leg of the bed”. The mode of watch TV and reading: the angle setting is “40 degree elevation of the backrest and 15 degree elevation of the leg ”. The mode of sleeping: the angle setting is “15 degree elevation of the backrest”. The mode of varicose veins: the angle setting is“ 30 degree elevation of the leg”. Results indicated that through the universal design principles, we can apply the user mode of the electric bed on the electric bed controller to conform the user need of the elderly.
